What to Expect
Do I have to dress up?
No. We want you to come as you are. There is no special dress code to attend. At Acton Baptist, you will see people dressed in all types of clothing.
What is the worship service like?
Our worship service could be described as a blend of traditional and contemporary. We still have our traditional background of singing hymns, but we also mix praise choruses as well. The sermon is always Christ-centered, Bible-based, challenging, and applicable to daily living for all ages and all walks of life. We also now have a modern (contemporary style worship, in which the sermon is streamed.
Is there something for my children during worship?
During our worship services we have Extended Session for our pre-school aged kids every Sunday, and we have Children's Church for kids who are in k-2nd grade three sunday's a month. The grade school kids will start off by going to worship after Sunday School, but will leave right after the offertory to have their own worship designed just for them.
Do I have to do anything?
No. You are our visitor and we want you to be able to come knowing that we aren't expecting you to give or join our church and lead a Bible Study or anything like that. We would love to meet you, get to know you, and show you the love of Christ and all that He has done for us.
Are there any sermons that I can listen to?
