Local Missions. Eternal Impact.
Local Missions
God’s mission doesn’t start far away—it starts right here. We believe Jesus calls us to live on mission in our Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria: our neighbors, our community, and the places just beyond our comfort zone. Local missions are how we put faith into action—loving people where we live, meeting real needs, and pointing others to the hope of Christ. As we serve nearby, we join God in what He’s already doing, trusting that everyday obedience can lead to eternal transformation.
Ongoing Opportunities in Granbury
God has placed us in Granbury for a purpose, and local missions are one of the ways we live out our faith right where we are. Through strategic partnerships, we have the opportunity to serve our community, love our neighbors, and share the hope of Christ in practical and meaningful ways.
We partner with the Brazos Pregnancy Center to support women, men, and families by offering compassion, encouragement, and life-affirming care during critical moments. Through Joseph’s Locker, we help meet tangible needs by providing clothing and essential items to individuals and families in our community.
We also invest in the next generation through campus ministries. The Good News Club at Acton Elementary creates a safe and welcoming space for children to hear the gospel and grow in their understanding of God’s love. At the middle and high school level, we support First Priority Clubs at Acton Middle School and Granbury High School, helping students live out their faith and reach their peers on campus.
These mission opportunities allow us to faithfully reach our Jerusalem—serving Granbury through consistent presence, loving action, and everyday obedience as God works in and through our community.
Our Ongoing Partnerships

Navajo Nation
We are grateful to partner with Lorne Denetclaw and his family as they follow God’s call to plant a church in Crownpoint, New Mexico, within the Navajo Nation. Lorne and his family are faithfully serving their community by building relationships, sharing the gospel, and helping establish a local church rooted in hope, truth, and the love of Christ.
Through prayer, encouragement, and financial support, our church has the opportunity to walk alongside the Denetclaw family as they live on mission every day. This partnership allows us to extend our reach beyond our local community and participate in what God is doing among the Navajo people—trusting Him to use faithful presence and everyday obedience to bring lasting spiritual impact.

North American Mission Board
Through our partnership with the North American Mission Board (NAMB), we work alongside Southern Baptist churches across the U.S. and Canada to share the hope of the gospel. Through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention, our church gives together with others to support church planting, disaster relief, and missionaries serving in communities that need Christ.
This partnership allows us to extend our reach far beyond our local church—helping start new churches, respond to crises, and support missionaries who live on mission every day. By giving cooperatively, we take part in God’s work across North America and faithfully live out the call to reach our Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.
