Helping kids know god and build a strong foundation
From their earliest years through 5th grade, children are discovering the world and forming beliefs that will guide them for life. That’s why our PreK and Kids Ministries are committed to teaching the Word of God and helping every child understand who God is and how much He loves them.
Through caring leaders, intentional teaching, and safe, joyful environments, we guide children to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength—one foundational moment at a time.

Sundays
9:00am and 10:30am
Our Preschool Ministry is designed to help toddlers and preschoolers learn who God is and experience His love in a safe, nurturing space. On Sundays (9:00 and 10:30 a.m.), little ones from 2 years through Kindergarten enjoy worship, storytelling, crafts, and age-appropriate Bible lessons using the The Gospel Project.
On Sundays, our Kids Ministry welcomes 1st through 5th graders for a fun, safe, and biblical environment. After check-in under the yellow lamps, kids worship together at 9:00 a.m. and then move into age-graded Bible study classes with caring, background-checked volunteers.
Wednesdays
6:00pm
On Wednesday evenings, preschoolers become Cubbies in AWANA, where they learn biblical truths through puppet shows, music, and hands-on activities that help them begin to understand God’s love and the big story of the Bible.
Wednesdays are for growing disciples — kids join our AWANA Clubs, where they memorize Scripture, dig into God’s Word, and enjoy games and fellowship before being picked up from the gym.

Our Promise to Families
At Acton Baptist, child safety and spiritual growth matter deeply. All volunteers are trained, background-checked, and follow standards for safe, loving care.
We also support parents with weekly “Truth Talk” take-homes — simple conversation starters to help families discuss what their kids learned and live out faith together.
Birth-23 Months
Nursery
Our nursery workers are dedicated to the care of each child under their care. Every Sunday and Wednesday, our team teaches our youngest about who God is through the care they show. Nursery is open 15 minutes prior to services on Sundays and Wednesdays.
24 Months- Kindergarten
AB Preschoolers
Our Preschool Ministry is designed to help children ages 2 through Kindergarten discover who God is and how deeply He loves them. Through The Gospel Project, our little ones learn biblical truths with age-appropriate storytelling, crafts, and creative play that make God’s Word come alive.
On Wednesdays, preschoolers join our AWANA Cubbies program, where music, puppet shows, and hands-on activities help them begin building a lifelong love for God, His Word, His Son, and His mission. In every environment, our goal is to provide a safe, joyful place where children can grow in faith and experience God’s love in meaningful ways.
1st-5th Grade
AB Kids
Our Kids Ministry is designed to help children in 1st–5th grade grow in their faith through meaningful Bible teaching, Christ-centered community, and tons of fun. On Sunday mornings, kids gather in our Children’s Castle for worship, connection time, and age-graded Bible studies that guide them in understanding God’s Word and living it out each day.
On Wednesday nights, children ages 3 through 5th grade join our AWANA Clubs, where Scripture memory, interactive Bible lessons, and recreation come together to form a vibrant discipleship experience. School-age children begin upstairs in the Castle and wrap up the evening in the gym for parent pick-up.
Beyond weekly programming, ABKids hosts family-focused events throughout the year—from summer gatherings to Trunk-n-Treat and our community Easter egg hunt—creating spaces where families can connect, grow, and celebrate together.
