Ministry Assistant
Ashley serves as a Ministry Assistant, using her experience in administration, finances, and operations to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Before joining Acton Baptist, she spent two years serving as an administrative assistant, financial secretary, and ministry assistant at Southside Baptist Church, where she also led the Food Pantry and Diaper ministries.
Ashley holds an Associate of Applied Sciences in Paralegal Studies and has additional training in operations, sales, and revenue management. After much prayer, she felt God leading her to Acton Baptist, where she could use her skills to serve the church while being more involved with her family.
Ashley and her husband, Joseph, have been together for almost 16 years and have two children, Joley and Joseph “Jr.” Their family stays busy with club soccer, road trips, and plenty of questions from Jr., who loves everything from LEGO and Pokémon to dinosaurs and sea creatures. Ashley’s husband loves to cook, and she’s happy to be the official taste-tester!
When she’s not juggling schedules, Ashley enjoys family movie nights, lots of snuggles, and being silly together. She believes in teaching her kids to embrace their “weirdness” and enjoy what makes them unique.
Ashley loves helping people and believes there’s no better place to serve than a church committed to bringing people closer to Jesus. Her hope is to use her gifts to help the church run effectively while finding opportunities to serve those in need.
